At the outset, a BIG thank you to the over 1000's of members who completed our survey "What do you look for first when searching for a partner?".

Based on the insights provided by the interesting survey results, here are four simple tips for you to bear in mind to make the most of your membership:

•Upload your photo: 43% of our survey respondents stated that the first thing they look for when searching for their soulmate is their photo. If you don't have your photo uploaded on our site right now, do it now! You may be missing out on meeting "the one" because they don't know what you look like.

Having a photo of yourself on our site is PROVEN to increase the number of contacts others will make with you.

•Write a great profile: 35% of the respondents said that a great profile helps them to decide whether to contact you. Does it really tell people about you? Do you just have "Find out later"? Does it just say that "I am looking for a man/woman"?

Remember, your profile is your way of advertising YOU! What's great about you? What would your friends say about you? What are you looking for in a partner?

A great profile tells people about you, your life and your expectations and is your chance to let others know!

•Be proactive: About 10% of our members are what we call the "Fire and Forget" people. They complete their profile, upload their photo and then just wait for someone to contact them. WRONG!

If you expect someone to notice you then you have to make yourself noticed! Send lots of emails and flirt, go hang out in the chat room. Remember when you are logged in, you show up in the "Online" search so people will know you are online right now and can contact you.

If you aren't a subscribed member already, consider upgrading, even if it's only for 1 month. You are then guaranteed that every email you send will be read by the person you wish to contact!

8% of members said they just emailed someone and hoped they would reply. Well, this is a call to action for you. Have you flirted with them? Remember to send a kiss or a hug every day to show your interest.

Don't forget that if you are a free member and you send an email to another free member, they won't be able to read it until one of you subscribes. So, take control of your love life and upgrade, so you KNOW that the person you are interested in gets your message! Remember, our low subscription price would cost you less than taking someone out for dinner or going out for coffee and cake! Isn't finding your soulmate worth at least that?

•Frequent the chat rooms: Our members also said they love to hang out in the chat rooms and hope to meet someone there. Great idea! This gives you the chance to meet and chat to people in real time!
