Her desire for having a multiracial family is amazing!! Her role as U.N. goodwill ambassador... now that is the kind of heart we all wish to have. Angelina is such an inspiration. She has inspired Americans to adopt foreign children. Now this is what bringing people together is all about. Globalization... oneworld... one people. amazing huh!!!

I like Angelina. She does her own thing but not purposely TRYING to be DIFFERNT,she just naturally is. I love that. You can tell her "strange" is innate and unique to HER. She has been intelligent about her celebrity status. She has done what SHE always wanted, which was to be global in her thinking and actions. Everyone else just COPIED HER!This has worked for the benefit of many orphaned children and the world. Angelina is TRULY different!Tattoos are boring to me, everyone has them, but when Angelina got one, because of her ability to just naturally stand out,it was news,LOL. Angela uses her God-given charisma, you're either blessed with this or not,it can't be created by man, to make a difference in the world. I say.....Angelina Jolie, Diva extraordinaire!

Kudos to Ms. Phatkitty for remembering the great Josephine Baker. She was a pioneer in many respects. I had the honor of meeting one of her children and he had the loveliest things to say about her.

I love Angelina not only because she is multicultural, but because she has the heart for looking beyond race. I think that in spite of her questionable past that she is a great role model and that there should be more people like her and Brad. In spite of the fact she has children of her own, I think that she truly loves her adopted children and that she has went above and beyond in demonstrating that. Now some other people I do question their motives and I agree with the person that said there is plenty of children here in the U.S.A that need loving homes. So like the old saying goes, "Charity starts at home",more and more people should give the orphans here a chance at a new life.

Angelina is a self styled personality. I think she has a lot of heart although we can't really know the intricacies of her lifestyle or its impact on her children because so much of it is "made for tv". Nevertheless, I think she and her family are doing a superb job with all the media hype. You can't really fake the happiness a child has, feels and shows in many cases. Her kids do look very happy. Unless a story like what is making the rounds concerning MJ's son, Prince, being made to revive his already notoriously dead father; her children's lives look peachy-king. It seems she and her handlers are making sure what media hype can be manipulated on their behalfs (like the photos of the new children), I'd bet a hundred bucks 15 years from now when some of the kids hit adulthood, she and hubby are putting away for them and not just spending it for continued hype. Great job Angelina and Brad!

I hope all of these so called stars are adopting these kids out of love and not trying to create some publicity stunt or silly trend !Because they can quietly pass them on to someone as well once the hype dies down.

Great that Josephine Baker was mentioned. Yes, she had adopted many children from different cultures and made them feel like a complete family at a time, when this was really extraordinary and under difficult circumstances in Europe, as well as the U.S.

My son will tell anyone who cares to hear that he is bi-racial. He embraces both sides of his race and the only issue he has had is that people think he is Hispanic. He tells them that if he was he would have told them. You’ve got to love kids.

thank you, steflyric. thank you, thanks, thanks! i'm black, and i always thought that it was better to just date another black person, for the children's sake and so as not to incur hostility from others. i am quite softspoken, and outwardly don't like to make a big scene. but inwardly, i have a great heart for social activism and the like. when i read your post, it changed my view. i have always found indian guys and korean guys attractive. i have also liked jewish, italian, white, hispanic and black men. but i've only seriously dated black men. growing up in the south, you do get looks. But i've moved on. when i read your post, i couldn't believe the eloquence. i actually googled it to see if you got it somewhere from a quotations site. :-) well put! THANKS SO MUCH! may you be blessed.

That is all great about Angelina that she wants her family to reflect the world, but i think everyone has forgotten another actress who had done this decades before Angie was even born. Her name was Josephine Baker. I would say she was a pioneer in this multi-racial adoption. Yes she adopted from a wide range of culture as well. And for her times were even harder then. So big ups to Ms. Baker.

Should the races not mix and procreate because of difficulties that the biracial offsprings might encounter? It is ridiculous to even consider that notion! Many a battle have been fought and won by being resolute even in the face of seemingly unyielding adversity. If we continue in our pursuit of happiness regardless of the perception of those who have not yet been enlightened then maybe we will make inroads into this issue of racial tension and set into motion change that will lead to the elimination of these kinds of negative forces in our society.

That's a very important point Flirty. There are children everywhere of every age in need of loving and supportive homes, but one person can only do so much.

That's great that she's adopting so many children. However, there are a lot of children that need adopting here in the US. Children, that because they're not babies, people tend to overlook. Why not try adopting someone here too, get the child out of the system?

To Angelina a family is very important. Her own family background, which has been played out in the media, was not a good one. She also has a partner, with the same agenda. No matter a celebrity, she wants to be a "good mom".

I think it's great that she's adopting so many kids from around the world. She's got a lot of money so she can definitely afford it.

Thisi is really great. amazing... However problem is she treats her adopted kids better than her own. well this is where she goes wrong. She should have love for all the kids or else this might make her own daughter feel allienated.
