Success Story: Una and David
For Valentine’s Day we thought we would tell you why it’s so important to look for someone you love and not restrict yourself to just a Zip Code.
Una or Maggie56 as she is known on our site had been a member of many dating sites off and on for some time. Una says “I had been with three or four dating sites for months and then a friend told me about your site, I was skeptical because I know my track record with these sites and I thought yours would be the same”

What makes this romance even more special is that Una was located in the USA and David was in Australia. After several emails back and forth and late night phone calls to hear each others voices neither could deny the feeling they had for one another.
Una says “In less than a month we were talking marriage!” and on the 8th of December, 2005 David kept his promise. He married Una.
As for Una, she laughed as she said “After the wedding, I packed everything up and I moved to Australia! I hope that everyone can find the success I have found, just remember if you are serious about a relationship and be serious and don’t settle for anything less.”
To finish up let’s find out what David has to say about this whirlwind romance. “I love her so much, and she loves me so much, I know that the heavens are smiling down on us, because it was ordained that we should be together when we met on your site.”
So consider this, are you looking for Mr/Ms. Right or Mr/Ms. Right Next Door because whether you are streets, States or oceans apart, love has a way of finding you and happens, sometimes, from where you least expect it.

Una and David your story is so heart-warming and inspiring for me but at the same time i feel heartbroken as well. I myself have been on several sites and each time i am thinking, this is it...then reality kicks in!!! You were talking marriage within a month? And are now married???? I am happy for you two. I too was looking for someone nearby. I just so happened started talking to someone in another country. I always yet I will live in the U.S all my life, but I really truly like this person alot and if things go well.....then I guess I will have to move overseas for love. Your story truly inspired me. To be honest, in the beginning, I thought it would be a waste of time. But since I've never seen a similar service in any other dating site, I decided to give it a try.

I think this wedding is perhaps one of the sites first success--marriage stories..?!---It would be cool to get a follow up--I mean...Australia....is a very far place to move from the US...from friends and family I mean...but Im sure she is happy!!
